Last night was the last night of classes for the year for my South San Francisco classes. Here is a video of me with my Beginning class doing their routine:

I was honored to perform with my lovely student belly dance troupe, Troupe Alisa, at the annual Fabulous Fall Festival in Los Altos on November 16th. Here is a short video clip of our drum solo from one of my other students, thank you Betsy!!!

We’re missing one member here, Isabelle, who was out of town. But otherwise it was a wonderful time and we’re so grateful to the organizers for having us!

Just a reminder that registration is open for my Winter 2025 Belly Dance Classes through the South San Francisco Parks and Rec Department! These classes always wind up with a wait list.

These classes always fill up so be sure to register right away if you’d like to join us. Registration opens for non-residents on Monday, 12/16.

Summer 2024 Belly Dance Wrap Up, Part One

It’s been an exciting summer of belly dance with classes and performances. In the next few posts I’ll share some of what we’ve been up to!

First off, a small group of my students from Better Together Dance Theatre and I performed at Carnival of Stars 2024! It was our first performance together as Troupe Alisa and their first time performing at a belly dance festival. We had great time preparing for and performing in this show. I’m so proud of their hard work. We put our entire set together with very little time and they did a stellar job!

The following day I had the honor of performing the in Carnival of Stars Gala Showcase to live music with Pangia.

I’ll share video from these shows and more of our summer adventures in the coming weeks.

Tonight is our last night of summer classes at Better Together Dance Theatre. Then we take a two week break and come back refreshed for our Fall season. My fall teaching schedule is available on my Classes page - come dance with us!

Carnival of Stars 2024

This year at Carnival of Stars I am debuting a student troupe on Saturday 7/13 at 5:06PM as well as dancing as a solo artist in the Gala Show on Sunday 7/14 to live music with Bay Area legends Pangia. Admission details on the Carnival of Stars website.

Carnival of Stars is always a fun weekend celebrating belly dance. Come join us!
